Deleting "Missing" Content?

For some obscure reason N3V refuses to allow the customer to delete missing items. I use the new red symbols on the available routes menu as a warning sign that something has changed since the last startup. Now they are there constantly due to "unknown assets". They are NOT unknown. They are indeed missing but the reference is in the route's asset list. All N3V has to do is to allow the customer to delete that entry.

I asked about this awhile ago and was told that the asset is unknown so it can't be deleted. SAD...:confused:
