I have a question...does the following/something similar exsist in trainz?



something that causes a 'beep' every 30 seconds, you can acknowledge it, if you dont do this your train will apply (emergency) brakes after 5 seconds.



They use this on the BMLP i just rebuilt, and i try to do it as prototypical as possible

I do bleave so yes some trains that are built use it but I forget that its called I don't use it my self.

It is called ( here by us ) the vigilance system, a safety feature so the driver or his assistant has to acknowledge the signal by depressing the vigilance pedal . On the assistants side of the cab is a button that can nullify the signal as well. The signal will sound quickly if the vigilance pedal is released, or like after 60 seconds if continually depressed. If the beep signal is not nullified after a set time, a whistle will sound for a few seconds and if still not nullified an automatic emergency brake application will result on the whole consist.
I think I have done a session or two on passenger trainz where a similar system is used in trainz.
