This thread has been created to present my interpretation of the North Yorkshire area in the pre WW1 era.
The sessions created in line with the timetables, engine shed allocations, engine shed workings together with, where available, the correct carriage diagram number construction types for the era.
I would like to recognize the assistance patiently provided by Frank Routledge together with models created by Paul Mace.
The image provided depicts the 7.24am service from Thirsk Junction to Ripon with a NER J22 #508 together with Set 278, a single Code XBC NER Van Compo #3268 D89. After arrival at Ripon it has been coupled to Set 341, two Code M goods Vans for it's return to Thirsk Junction.
The forgoing service is based on the 1926 timetable which is just outside the era in question.
