Custom Trainz Project - Interested?

Hi,

For some time now I have been looking for someone interested in recreating the CNJ Bronx Terminal trackwork for me in Trainz. I don’t have the time to spend on the project, but I would love to be able to simulate working the terminal in Trainz.


The CNJ Bronx Terminal was a small pocket terminal along the Harlem river, built in 1906. This terminal was built on 2 acres of land and to accommodate all the necessary trackwork some very complex designs were required. I am currently building an HO scale version of this terminal and have lots of detail about it on my website.

I am willing to engage the right person to create an accurate version of the CNJ Bronx Terminal using this Trainz. I can provide CAD files of the trackwork and details on the shapes of the main structures in the terminal. What I would like is for someone to layout the trackwork and produce the basic buildings for me. I can take it from there.


I am willing to exchange some Fast Tracks products for the work, or if that is not of use to you, we can work out payment for the job.

That's insane!! I saw an article in a RR model mag about it recently.

I would love to have a go at the trackwork just for the challenge, but no way can I do it before I get Clovis2 off to the beta testers and that will be another three or four months (at least). Since I can't make a box in GMax, I would need somebody to do the depot building first anyway, so the timing might not be too bad....
