How do you get missing assets from defunct or changed sites? That bugs me with routes. They are not easily replaceable in bulk, changing kuid's in the config doesn't work. Deleting missing assets in surveyor means that there will still be assets missing and you don't know if they are important or not. Sometimes the Wayback archive works with defunct sites, sometimes not and definitely not with sites that require a log in to download, like TPR did. Route builders should be more transparent with where non-DLS assets came from in read me's. They expect you the downloader to hunt them down. And the kuid index is going away next December, that was a handy tool for finding where to get missing kuid's.
