Creating a Consist

1) Put together the cars that you want, in the "right" order and direction.

2) Don't worry about giving cars loads, as the consist is always empty by default when you place it.

3) Go to the "trains" tab, "consist" menu, and use the "get consist" tool (lower left corner, IIRC). A box should pop up telling you to name your consist. Once you give it a descriptive name, hit OK (or the check mark, or whatever it is, I'm at school atm and can't double-check). Your consist should now be saved, and you should be able to place it as you would any other consist.

that comment was not needed all they did was ask a simple question:(
That does not matter to Zwabberaar . He just loves to put people down. Still there are loads of good people on here who are willing to help, even with the simple things.

I actually like to put people like you down. The others I do help.

The dumbest thing you have said so far. The topic starter is by far not new to trainz but just a kid to lazy to look things up.

Thank you kind sir, your comments are most wellcome. Have you ever thought of becoming a moderator. your patience and understanding would serve this forum well.

Ugh...

Honestly people, if you take some time to READ AROUND, 1/2 of the "How do I..." threads on here wouldn't exist...

*EDIT* LOL, what in the Hell is this doing in Prototype Talk anyway? :p

Hi,

I take it that nstrainz has found out how to make a consist in trs, and a thank you to ferrous for helping. When I read this, I though it ment equipment placement in train consist. EG placing empty cars in trains. Oh well, Glad to see you have it nstrainz:wave:

Best Regards
Mike S.

My attention was drawn to this thread, and I have to say that I have to agree with Zwabberaar's post about reading the manual and the one that said he is too lazy to read the manual, nor am I sorry he said it. (Yes I know he's banned, and hope not because of something like this). He said it plain and direct and how he should have said it. I for one, am sick & tied of having to "dance" around obvious answers.

But if anyone can't understand the manuals, read through them again, or maybe get someone else to read them, if need be.
