I was recently going about updating assets, I set the form to out of date and true, Trainz crashed and now I have only got it to start once, it went through the updating/removing ect. assets process. I then tried to launch content manager, windows task manager is showing that TADD is running as is content manager using 100% cpu, but not physically showing up on the screen.:(

I'm not entirely clear from your post what your problem is, but give this a try:

Shut down your PC.
Wait for 1 minute.
Restart your PC.
Leave it to "wake up" for 5mins or so.
Start up Trainz. Do nothing else on the PC beforehand.
Leave the PC alone for ???? mins/hrs - your guess is as good as mine, if you have downloaded lots of stuff it will take a while - hours.

If letting Trainz sort out it's own database does not not work there is a way of starting Content Manager directly and forcing a database repair.

I never updated anything, I think it tried to search for out of date assets on the DLS, this is what made it crash. surveyor also crashes now if this helps. here is the database processes text

The information posted about the "database process text" is only meaningful in helping the programming team sort out a bug, if one exists, in the code.

Did you try what I suggested ?

Figured it out. Launched Content Manager and let the comp sit for a few hours, it finally came up and was displaying some 35,000 of 380,000 out of date assets on the DLS. Thank you itareus for your help, much appreciated.
