Pretty cool. This was taken up in Maine just outside of Portland probably after the track rehab for the Downeaster extension to New Brunswick.

I would think so too, unless there's a crew member riding on the end and swings down on command to pick up the spikes.

It's kind of cool to wath though.

That's an old "American" crane run by PanAm.
