Converting assets

I've been making a new region and i want to place some trucks driving on the roads but I've heard for 2010 the vehicles can only be in the 'scenery-trackside' category. These trucks are in the 'scenery' category. How do you you convert them?

The method of including your own custom traffic in your own regions is different depending on whether you are using 2004 or 2009 before installing the new SP4 patch, or after installing SP4 in 2009. After 2009 SP4 and in 2010 the 'trackside objects' method is applicable.

If you would like to tell me which version you will be using, I will point you in the right direction.

I'm using 2010 but if you're only familiar with 2009 then fine because they are pretty much the same

I did not realise you were using 2010 since it did not show on your profile.

Anyway 2010 and 2009 SP4 are the same for creating traffic.

Thanks, now i can put anything on the road. I could even try to make houses drive on the road XD
