When I hold CTRL and RCM on a car or industry I get nothing. My screen goes blank and reloads back to where I was. Any suggestions?

What is RCM please? What version of Trainz are you using too, that helps.

OK, understand now, I call it RMB (right mouse button), that's why it threw me.
If I remember rightly, and that may not be right(!), when I ran 2006 you just right-clicked, you do in 2004.
2006 is not running at the moment on my PC after a major crash, nor is TC3. So I guess I had better try to get it working again and see what happens.
As I understand it you are trying to get the vehicle's Details.

Have you tried jus a right click without any other keys?

Yes, nothing happens. Also it says if you pass the curser over a car or engine you will get info. That doesn't happen either.

Whenever I've seen a major scripting problem like this, it's almost always been down to a faulty install.

I suggest reinstalling, making sure that you have disabled your virus software during the install, and doing the same when applying any Service Packs.

Yes, Smileyman, it does sound very suspicious. Something seriously wrong. It is very easy to forget to turn off your Internet protection before installing, the excitement of the moment I suppose.
And the same goes for updates (Patches) for your Trainz version, Security off while you install. What I do is to disconnect from the Internet and safeguard my PC that way, then reconnect after installing the main program and patches.
