Content Manager Not Working

I am running 2010 Engineers Edtion on Steam. When I launch the game to click on the content manager it willnot open. Any suggestions????

Yes I just updated all of my video drivers. All of the other tabs (play game, options, manual) work from the start screen just not the content manager.

Hmm, if I'm not mistaken you also need a .NET framework installation for the CMP.(available from Microsoft, only if you don't run Windows 7) There was an issue with the trs2006 version that you needed working OpenGL as well, but I don't know if that's still the case with ts2010.

Thanks for the relply, but I am running windows with .net, dont know what is going on but I will keep trying.

Check which version of .NET Framework you are running - I think Content Manager requires either 1.1 or 2.0.

Also, if you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7, make sure you are running Trainz as administrator.

Also, make sure you have the latest version of DirectX 9.0C installed (it needs to be DirectX 9.0C,not DirectX 10 or 11)

I think I read some where that CM needs Open GL to function.

Correct, you have to have a working version of OpenGL in your video driver. The reason is that CM's ccp editor has a mesh display function that uses OpenGL exclusively, so you need it even if you never use the mesh display function.

Under options for display I am using open gl but still no luck. I am at a lost, nothing seems to be working.

Thanks for the help eveyone, finally got it working. It was direct x. I was missing on of the dll files. After I renistalled direct x the content manger works.
