Content Manager in Trainz Classics 1 & 2 Freezing

I can't use the content manager in Classics 1 & 2, as it freezes almost immediately.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing, but still no go.

Does Trainz have it's own unistall, or use the control panel uninstall?

Also, what is the latest version of Classics 1 & 2?

The last version of trains classics was 3 ie TC3. (website here if you haven't happened to find it http://www.trainzclassics.co.uk/)

I have never had TC3 and dont now have 2004 or 2006 installed so cant tell you whether or not the programme has its own uninstall option but in any case the 'Add/Remove programmes option in Windows Control Panel will do just fine but it is wise to use a Registry cleaner afterwards (such as ccleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner) to get rid of any left behind clutter.

Are you opening Content Manger from within the Trainz splash screen? If so there is a better option. Go to the folder where Trainz is installed and in it look for a 'bin' folder. In here you will find an icon for Content Manager which you can right click on and chose 'send to desktop' to put a shortcut to launch CM direct to your desktop. You can then open it up without having to run the game

Thanks for the heads-up on the shortcut. I tried that, and the program is still freezing.
