Content Manager Download Freezes

When i download files in content Manager, they start and the progress bars appears on the name. It gets all the way over but just sits there. The file is not downloaded. I can hit "Stop" and all the other windows work, so the program itself doesn't appear to be freezing, but the download does.

I have Train2009 patched up to SP3. I have not had this problem until the last couple of days. I've retried several times with the same result. It happens both with simple single files as well as ones with lots of dependency files. It has happened every time except once yesterday. I wanted to download some more stuff today and the problem returned.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I have the same problem. Anything listed in the download helper below 9Mb will fully download. Otherwise, depending on your location, wait until after midnight UK time and FTP from the DLS website instead. That's just as slow but will download in full. I have asked this question before, but no-one had the problem.

Thanks Stationmistress. I can't say I noticed that file size mad a difference. I tried again just now (4:00 p.m. my time here on the east coast of the US) and it's been working - so quick download the stuff I wanted for the layout I'm working on before it stops again!

Hi Rickie82. That sounds like the same problem I'm having. I was able to get it to work earlier today, but I'll try downloading something tomorrow and if it chokes I will try your work-around. Many thanks for the suggestion!
