Content Manager doesn't start up

Hello, I am new to the world of Trainz, so I'm here to ask for a technical problem.

Everytime I open up the Content Manager, I get an error window typical of Windows that says "Content Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close."

I use Windows XP, and I updated DirectX. I even reinstalled Trainz 2006 but still get the error. Any advice?

Did TrainzDiag.exe show any failures? Specifically, OpenGL has to pass or CM won't run.

No, OpenGL did not pass. A friend told me though it wouldn't be a problem. I assume otherwise then.

It may be a stupid requirement but CM uses OpenGL to display the mesh when you use the Content Creation Plus (CCP) function. Auran wrote their software to require it whether you use CCP or not, even tho it is not needed for any other function in CM.
