Content Manager and TS2009 Open at the Same Time?

Hi All,

Just like the title says, I'm wondering if there is a way to have both open at the same time. The reason is mostly because its very easy to find things in the content manager, but very hard to find things that you don't already know the names of inside of TS2009. Also, if there is some better ways to find things inside of TS2009 other than just a name search, I would really like to know what they are.

Yes you can run both at the same time. Just Alt-Tab out of game, click your desktop icon again, and launch CM. You may have some long load times in game as TS2009 updates the database with the new content.

Have you found the filter search in 09? in the upper left where there is "Quick Drive" & "wiremode" there is a button next to wiremode that brings up the same search system as CM2. I believe [Ctrl]+[F] also brings this up; but don't quote me on that.

I have tried that, but there are certain filters that just don't seem to appear. For example, if I want only native mode compatible objects, there isn't a filter for 2.9 only to be listed. For this I need to CM to be open so I can filter for what I want, and then identify the names of my targets to be used in TS2009.

I chose full screen mode when I installed TRS 2006, and I've not bothered to change it yet If I have another window item open (even just a folder) I can switch out of full-screen mode by use of [Alt]-[Tab]; otherwise I can't. So I just try to make certain I have another window open when I start TRS.
