Do a google search of; "Trainz Content Creation Tutorials", then checkout each site that is shown. You will be able to download plenty of tutorials to start you on your way. The problem is there are so many tutorials aimed at slightly different levels and some are a little out of date. There is a learning curve so if you start with something simple then move on that works best.

Just starting with reskinning might be complex enough.
