Is it possible to set the clock in surveyor so that when you are in driver,it never gets dark?If so what are the settings?

The easiest way is to set the clock to 6:00 a.m. and then never run a single session for longer than 12 hours at a time. If it gets dark while you're running your train, you've got more stamina than I do.
You can adjust how fast the clock runs (I think it's in the world menu) but that's to speed it up. I've never tried slowing it down.
