Connection Problems

Hi,
I am brand new to trainz and have just bought 2012. Trying to set up the multiplayer for it but i apparently need to download stuff. So tried to do that via the download centre and the cm. but the CM keeps telling me its unable to connect to planet auran and to check my internet connection and firewall settings. I have set up my account with auran already and registered the serial. My firewall is turned off. Has anyone got any suggestions? I bought this mainly for the multiplayer and right now, it feels like quite a waste? Any help would be appreciated?

have you added your auran user name and password to the trains option window?
