Having had a go at transferring some old TANE routes into TRS22 compatibility one has discovered an feature called:
Surveyor Tools Menu - Compact Route.
Now one has read a few comments made back as far as the year of 2017 about this feature and one is to believe that
it would reduce the size of the edited route and help it perform better.
One comment stated that pressing this button would destroy all closed sessions currently made for the parent route.
My questions are:
Is it really necessary to use this function in the TRS22 product ?
Is it needed before uploading any work to the DLS ?
The most useful command I have used in the Surveyor is the Delete Missing assets button prior to uploading any stuff to the DLS.
Regards
