When i double click to start trainz 2006 a box appears with the following message:-

Some of your content has not been commited, are you sure you want to launch Trainz?

I click yes and it starts ok but whast does it mean and is there a fault in my version somewhere?

No fault. It just means that one or more assets in your database are open for edit. To fix this in CM search under "open for edit" and "local" this should locate any open items. When they appear in the window, locate edit in the upper left hand corner choose "select all" and then "commit". This should remove the message.

THank you very much thats fixed it. Brilliant.

Take care

If you start Content Manager and select File - Settings - Miscellaneous then in the When Launching Trainz click the pull down and select Automatically Commit Assets. Also check the box for Automatically commit when installing CDPs. These settings will do most of the committing for you.
