Combining Multiple DEMs/.BMP images into One

I need to combine multiple DEMs/Tiger lines into one big image, but can't seem to remember how to do that... I converted the 7 DEM/Tiger images into individual .BMP images, per this guide (elevation and tiger only files):

I'm using Microdem, but can't seem for the life of me remember how to get these lined up next to each other, into 1 file, that way I can make a route. Any hints/tips here would be appreciated!

Not Sure I follow, but I think you have created a Tiger image and an elevation image in Microdem and the question is: What next?

You need to use the HOG utility to create the Trainz route using the two Microdem images - see step 7 in Wewain's tutorial...

Nope - I've read your post again and I think what you need to do is merge the DEMs in Microdem before you create the images.

Merge the DEMs using the 'In <-> Out' / Merge / DEMs menu option.
