CMP - Daily Limit issues

Trainz Collector
Well I haven't seen this come up before, but if it has, my apologies for creating a new thread.

I don't especially use the CMP for downloads, I ususally just download the file directly - I place them all in a backup folder, just incase;). But I recently downloaded the route Model Railroading v3.0 - with LOADS of content. I let the download helper in CMP run to take care of it.

This problem is that it will hit the 100MB limit - but it doesn't refresh on a daily basis - its been well over 24 hours. With this paranoia going around that the world of trainz will get sucked into a blackhole, waiting three days to download another fraction of a route is rather hindering

Any explaination?

try reentering our username and password into CMP, this should cause it to refresh your user data it has and hopefully will see that you have another 100MB. I have also heard that sometimes having things cued up in CMP will cause it to not refresh your data.

If you're downloading a lot anyway, however you do it, it may be worth buying a First Class Ticket. They're only $9.99 USD for a years subscription, and they remove the total download limit, along with higher download speeds. A real bargain, and you're helping keep Trainz alive!

Hope this helps,

Thank you for your responses - as of now i'm having the freezing upon load issue with CMP and the trick of deleting asset.bku/tdx isn't fixing things yet - guess i'll just keep restarting til somethin works out...

but Thanks to all!:)

load it up and let it sit. If you deleted the assets files CMP has to rebuild the Trainz Asset Database; which can take a while. during the rebuild CMP often acts like it is frozen.

If CMP needs to download more than 100 mb including dependencies you will be prevented from downloading. The civilised solution is to buy a first class ticket the other way is to write the dependencies down then download them first one at a time before trying the layout.
