Classic Carbon City DLC Question.

Hello,
This is my first post so apologies if I have done something wrong or posted in the wrong forum....there seems to be a lot of categories but I thought I'd just stick it in general...

It's prob a dumb question but I was just wondering if there was any way to get Classic Carbon City route (specifically the trams that come with it) to TANE. I purchased it in Trainz 2 on the mac.

Welcome to the forums.

There's no official method as far as I'm aware as there isn't a T:ANE version of that addon yet from memory. Some may have managed it by transferring the assets from the earlier version but it often involves a lot of work to bring it up to standard.

Hey, thanks for the reply.

When you mean bringing it up to standard, do you mean bringing the quality of the addon to TANE's quality standard or just simply getting it to work? I'm not too concerned about the actual quality of the add on in the game...

I dunno if you would know but if it's too difficult do you know of any trams on the dls that could be used instead that are of reasonable quality?

It's more a case of getting it to work as there are several differences between earlier versions and T:ANE when it comes to the way it checks for errors.

No worries - it's worth keeping an eye out in case someone does find a simple way of doing it or if a T:ANE version does get released.
