Classic Cabon City and Trainz 2010 from Steam

I recently bought Trainz 2010 from Steam and I purchased the Classic Cabon City from Auran. The CC installer forced me to install the standalone Trainz 2009 along with Cabon. Is there a way to copy Cabon from this standalone install into my 2010 install? The installer doesn't seem to be smart enough to detect that the Trainz 2010 installation exists in my Steam folder.

I tried copying over the "cabon_city.ja" file from the Cabon install into the Builtin folder in my Trainz 2010 install, but I didn't see anything show up in the menus in my Trainz 2010 game for loading any Cabon scenarios. I'm assuming that I'm missing some additional files. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi Hayatae,

Try this, open the TS 2010 Content Manager,
Select 'File'
Select 'Import Content'

A Window will open titled 'Browse For Folder'

Navigate to the folder for your copy of Cabon City/TS2009
and it should copy all the content in that folder.

Hope this helps you,
Lindsay

Yes, I tried the content import function in Content Manager, but it simply reported 915 warnings about Unsupported file type. There are only 914 files in the folder, so I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that it was not able to import any files because they were all unsupported. And sure enough, there doesn't seem to be any cabon city content in Trainz 2010 when I launch it.

Any other ideas?
