Class 86 locos won't work in Trainz 12

Hi guys,

I've got a couple of Class 86 locos from the DLS - both are by 'Strings' - one is in Intercity Swallow livery, the other in Virgin livery - but neither of them work. They're showing red exclamation marks and saying something along the lines of mesh not supported, or something like that.

Does anyone know if there are any Virgin/Intercity 86's that will work with Trainz 12?

There's a Freighliner 86 kuid2:45317:102459:1 on the DLS. works fine in 2910 so should work in 2012

I have strings Intercity 86, fixed everything except the alpha numbers so I have a big black square on the side, haven't worked out how to fix these texture problems yet. For the mesh not supported problem download pev's supurb PM2IM program from http://www.members.optusnet.com.au/~villaump/pevsoft.htm
this will convert any PM meshes into IM format.

And where did you get trainz 2910 ?? your only 20 miles from me, what shop, tell me tell me:wave:

You need to go to CERN in Switzerland although I wouldn't bother 2910 is the buggiest version yet - they havn't got to grips with the new holographic video cards yet. Still better than Railworks 910 tho haha sorry slight typo.

bassist118 - yeah, that Freighliner 86 looks really detailed. My route is based on the mid-late 90's though so unfortunately, that particular 86 is too recent for my route.
