Trainz

Friends, I am contemplating beginning two routes, both lines of the Chicago Terminal Railroad, one in Elk Grove Village, the other in Bensenville, IL. Modeled complete, and to scale, the Bensenville line will fit in about a dozen boards, 3 (E-W) x 4 (N - S), and the Elk Grove line about twice that, approximately 5 boards square. Maximum change in elevation in both lines is on the order of five to 10 meters, so TRANSDem is not needed; these can be modeled very nicely with simply the resources of USGS topo maps, and Google Earth. The area is US urban industrial, large tilt-wall buildings, and local shops to service their employees.

Anyone is interested in collaborating on these routes, can express interest by replying to this thread.
