All this talk about not liking Chrome, and it being downloaded bundled with the improved Google Earth ... Can't you, after the fact, just uninstall Chrome, and select the browser of your choice ... Or does that disable some of the improved GE features ?

I took my bumpah's completely off my cahh, so I can't even getz' Chrome

Apparently, the new improved Google Earth will only work in the Google Chrome browser. According to some posts here, it will not be available for other browsers although the web site contained the following ...

"The new Google Earth isn't supported by your browser yet"

.. the word "yet" seems to give some hope!

Apart from importing GIS data can't think of a use for the rest, dont really care about Parcels.
Had a popup from the Almighty Google Last night in GE Pro promoting their Chrome version.......

Thanks, but I don't think any of the differences would be useful to my limited needs, but I have it installed, mainly because it's free!
