Changing UI resolution

I am new to trainz model railroader 17 and I want to increase the size of my UI so it is easier to see. Usually there is a UI scale option in game settings but there appear to be none here. Also the only option the game gives me is to run it at is 1920x1080, is there a way to run the game at a lower resolution for performance purposes? Thanks for your help.

At the Launcher, when you first start TMR2017 (T:ANE also), click on Trainz Settings.

Click the Full screen box.

Scroll to what you want.

Make other changes.

Close screen.

Start Trainz.

You might also want to run windowed.

The advantage is you can browse the web at the same time and not need to press Alt+Enter to minimize the program.

I'm not sure that you can get there because it's in a TANE forum section and you only have TMR17, so here is some of what was said...

in the file \Trainz A New Era\resources\fonts\fonts.txt

increased all size values by 4, except the ones which have been already 24 or higher
