Changing Default Text Color

I was wondering if the default color of the text in Surveyor could be changed?
I am working on a winter route and I am having a hard time seeing the "white" default text on a “snowny track” background.
I would like to change it to "black" so that there is some contrast between the two colors. This would make editing the juctions, trackmark, etc so much easier .
Any suggestions………….

I had the same problem using DirectX. I changed to OpenGL and that fixed the problem.
