I can load with Multi Ind New - no problem. When I head to unload, I get a message that PH FX features Disabled on C/Wagon due to missing config data. This happens on 2 separate PC's................hum......bad '06 program? (Ver2.6 - Bld3335). 1 PC is XP & other is Win7. Here's what I have in my config file. Any idea what's wrong with it? THANX for looking at this.

The above config is not for the wagon, by looking at it, its for the session. To load products the wagon needs to have the queues table with listed products you want to load and carry. Also is the unload configured correctly?

Right......here it is - <kuid2:44090:15070:6>. I've done several multi ind's & have had success. I've gone over the config for unload...I've replaced the cars - I've replaced the Multi Ind track. It's the wording 'missing data' that seems to be the problem. Is there another cattle car I can use? This is the only one I found, but it was listed under bldgs or some different category. CMP shows no problem with it. Thanx for looking.

Try using another version of it, they go up to :40 vs your :6. just make sure you don't go over build number 2.6 as your using 2006.

I'm interested there, as the version I've got (built-in version) is only up to :6 (and this is in CM3.3).

Thanx for doing this for me.

The ones that are slightly concerning me are the ones that have versions lower than the versions I stated, especially the FX Library.

Did that & the layout is listed in CMP but disappeared from my list of layouts when I open the peogram???????????? Go Figure......... I don't have a whole lot of luck - as you can tell!

Just because you are getting a message doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong, it's just that, a message. The cattle wagon doesn't have the necessary config entries to enable particle effects as a cloud of coal dust isn't really what you want when unloading cattle. If if really, really worries you delete the line in the script that is sending the message (search for the message itself, it may be line 144).

But when I get to the unload, it just sits there, then very slowly rolls forward without unloading. Will deleting the script change that?

Of course it won't change anything. Now you are saying you have a new problem? One that nobody else has noticed in the last six years?

Paul

When I hover on it (Cattle Wagon), it shows in the pop-up 'not faulty'. My layout shows missing depen.(icon) but it always has. When I open the file, it states 'no missing dependencies'. I may try using the other Multi Ind's & see if the same thing happens. Since I lost my layout in the process, I think I may restore my PC back to last night & forget about the Cattle Wagon........... Not a big problem but I'll try it again some time. Can you think of why my layout's there but not there? I really won't miss much if I restore, since I haven't added anything other than working on the Cattle thing last night. You've done MUCH more than ever expected. It would be terrible if there weren't guys like you willing to try & help out us novice users with this stuff. Thanx again. I'll let you know if I have any luck. Hope to 'talk' with you again.

Sent a note to Paul Hobbs (author of the car) - here's his take on this..........
