Cant patch my game :(

I have bought game and now i can not patch to the new version?

I download patch from this page(46957_to_48249.exe) run it and then it says:

This patch file is not applicable to your current installation version.
No valid patch operation was specified. Patching aborted.

When i run the game it writes me that its Build 46957.

So my question is: How to patch my trainz?

Hi and welcome to trainz,

If you enter your username and password under options, you will also find a patch button there. Try that. You might have to restart your game and "run as administrator". If that does not work, try the patch you downloaded again and try to "run as administrator".

My computer is:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz
RAM: 3.6 GB
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 32-bit
Video Card: GeForce 9600 GT

In what details I should run the game? I tried lowest but I still have lags

Are you sure that is correct? Sounds wrong / broken to me as one would expect a figure like 1, 2, 4, or 8 or at least a whole number.

I cant help you with your other question; I run the game on a 6 year old PC with Windows XP with lesser hardware then you without a problem.

RAM is right. I have 6GB in PC but only 32bit system because computer seller is ***** :/ So it use only 3,6GB of it I really do not understand why i have lags I thought that i will run it at least on middle details and not the lowest with lags

If some1 else can help me with the second problem, please help!

If you are running in OpenGL change to directX, OpenGL is pretty poor, plus you need to add directX 9c to windows 7 as dx 10 /11 are not fully backwards compatible, see here for instructions http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/index.php?page=updating-directx. DirectX9c is installed alongside 10 and 11 so won't cause any problems.

Digital downloads from Auran are tough installations from the word go... poor by today's standards.
