Cant download Via CMP something missing

Most likely cause:
Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed
　
User name Correct
Password Correct
Settings on Firewall OK all relating to Tranz Auran Allowed
Contant Manager version 3.3
Tranz Patch 41491 to 44088 then 44088 to 49933
Still Blocked when i disable Kaspersky Internet Security
Proxy Settings are set to `no` proxy settings
I have a current first class ticket
I have 5 Gbs of memory installed
I`m using Windows 7 Home Premium 32 and 64bit tried both
Tranz is installed on my internal `D` drive ( it worked ok for years with windows XP )
Deleted Tranz and re-installed from the Disk and its stiil not allowing me to download using the DLS via contact manager ?
If as its reporting above (
Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed ) what program/s Files are they

please can anyone help this has got me stummped

Launch the program as administrator.

What browser are you trying?

I can't help much because that message is too generic. "Some content or files on this webpage..." says a lot about what's missing. It's like getting home from work and being blamed by the wife for doing something you know nothing about.

many thanks for your reply, yes you're right it is a very obscure statement but that's what I'm getting when I go to the download station and then try to download using `The Download Helper`
to quote----------- "unable to contact planet Planet Auran , Please check your Internet connection firewall settings "
I have checked both and insured that the firewall settings are set to allow connection to Auran but it still doesn't work, perhaps it is something to do with the browser I'm using, I'm using Internet Explorer 9 64-bit but the same thing happens when I switched to 32-bit !
I'm almost on the verge of reformatting the computer going back to XP-pro
the other irritating thing was on Thursday last week I was going to order the 50% off version of Tranz2012 but didn't then on Friday I discovered that it had gone to full price, I also checked any vouchers that I may have had but there were no longer valid.

I know you have probably checked this - but have you made sure your username and password have been entered correctly in the CMP?

A few notes about the tool:

1.It must be run before you use a Download (Helper) link.
2.The first time it is run, it will scan for your Trainz folders, which may take several minutes.
3.You will need to click the correct folder reference, check the build version shown, then click Set Association Now.

Hi Shane,
thanks followed thous instructions to the letter but its made no difference ,it now saying I`m reached my download limit of 100 Mbs for today and yet i have a current FCT valid and activated to june 8th 2013 !,it asking me to purchase a FCT again !

have done an extended database repair twice but no difference , the FCT is still saying i have a current one until june 2013 (activated) but yet i`ve reached my 100 Mb limit today , think i`ll delete everything and wait until they have 50% off Tranz 2012 again lasttime i missed ordering it by one day and i have no vouchers left .

Basically, go to your Trainz install folder in Windows Explorer and, for each **.exe file, R-click -> Compatibility tab -> tick "Run as administrator" checkbox.

Many thanks for that link looks like a very useful site, will look through it and let you know how i get on , at this stage i feel inclined to delete Tranz 2010EE and wait until 2012 is at 50% off again which i missed out on by one day last week

Hi Shane, I d/loaded your TrainzProtocolChanger utility but when running it I get:

"Unable to find a version of the 'runtime' for it". Its exact words.

This is in Win7 Ultimate 32bit. What version of MS runtime do I need?

It targets .NET Framework 2.0, although it should work with later .NET versions.

Check that it's turned on though. To do this:

1.Click Start, then enter 'turn on or off' in the search box. Click the third result (Turn Windows features on or off).
2.Wait for the box to appear with several items with tickboxes next to them.
3.Locate and tick '.Net Framework 3.5.1', then click OK.
4.Wait for the changes to be applied.

There has been a report that the sale end was a mistake of some kind and should be rectified as soon as the staff are back from holiday, so there's some good news for you.
As for your other problem, I would go with the "Run as Administrator" answer. :wave:
 
Hi , thanks for that, yes I noticed that the sale price of 2012 with 25% off yesterday 10th of June, I'll wait until it is 50% off like it was last week, I have deleted/removed my copy of 2010EE but have saved a full copy of everything ( all the hundreds of thousands of downloads in the local file on to an external hard drive, I have been working on my layout through surveyor ever since the days of 2004 and purchased every new boxed copy of versions since and am a little bit disappointed that the minute I change from windows XP to Windows 7 ( 64-bit) everything goes wrong, so as I say I've made a note of all the help that people have suggested here on the forums and when I get a copy of 2012 if I'm still having problems I'll try and run as administrator etc plus all the other suggestions that have been made, failing that I'll go back to Windows XP because I love working on building my imaginary world which I have been doing for many years now.
PS. I have tried Microsoft trains, it has beautiful graphics but is an absolute nightmare when it comes to using surveyor and trying to build up your own layout

Let me just throw out a quick solution, why not set up your machine as a dual-boot? It's especially easy to do if you have a second HDD since most modern computers allow you to select the boot device at startup. Throw XP on the new drive, hit F12 at startup, and pick which Windows into which you want to boot, that's it. A side benefit is you have a clean and unclutted OS.
