can't download right

sorry for being a pain., but i can't download into my content manager.

when i went to go download lets say the custom hud, i went to put the download into the trains i was using. knowing me, i screwed up something. i can't get it to download to where i need to put it. can someone help me where to guide downloads to?:'(

If you are using Content Manager to download, it will download into the respective version of Trainz's local folder.

If you are using FTP (i.e. from the web-based DLS), then you will be able to choose where to put the .cdp file.

ok i cleared everything as in restored everything. i went to go download and it says, this needs to be put in a file or whatever it says. i have the option of putting it in cmpshellcmd or chosse a program. what do i do?

Despite the odd name, I think that cmpshellcmd should be showing as Content Manager.

If it does not, you may need to select it manually.

Also note that if you are using Windows Vista or 7, Trainz must be run as administrator.

ok, if i download, what local folder do i put it in, or does it not matter? it's coming up with hash's, hash 00 and etc.

Use Content Manager's Import options (these will be in the File menu) - if you have downloaded the content using Content Manager, it will place it in the correct place automatically.
