When I try to download the GP30 SOO #700 from rrmods.com it doesn't show up in the game. When I right click and click on view dependencies it says there is 8 total and 1 broken. The one that is broken is the SOO Line GP30 cab <kuid:138423:111280> Is there an easy fix to make the locomotives that I download from rrmods.com to show up in the game?

Replace the cab with one from another locomotive,of similar style, that is working.

What are the missing parts? The need to be there too in order for the locomotive to work.

Start the Content Manager (CM3.3), right click the loco and select View Errors and Warnings. Copy the list and post it here and we'll help you.

When I right click to View Errors and Warnings it's grayed out. The only thing that I can view is View in assets versions & view dependencies.

This question would be better asked in the rrmods.com forum, as you're more likely to find people who can help you with the specific locomotive, on the one hand, and you're then more certain they are getting the information that one of their products is not quite up to standard, on the other.

If you're not planning on using the unit as a leading unit, another option would be to open the item for editing in CCP, find the dependency in the file, and delete the dependency.

The SOO GP30 status symbol in CM is a puzzle piece with a red ! meaning it has a faulty dependency. Notice that Soo Line GP30 Cab,<kuid:138423:111280>
has a red ! for a status. Right clicking it shows this error:
Error: The Tag 'mesh' is not permitted within a container of type 'interior'. Opening it for Edit in Explorer and double clicking the config.txt file shows this illegal tag:
mesh "main.pm"
Deleted this line, saved and commited ok. Tried the GP30 in Driver and it works ok.
