I have a problem posting Screenshots.Previously I have Uploaded them to Photobucket and cicked "IMG Code" there which shows "Copied".Then I paste the IMG Code into the "Insert Image" by cicking "Paste" and the Screenshot appears in the Reply. However, I now only get as far as "Copied" but when I go to the Reply the "Paste" is greyed so it won"t work anymore.I"ve tried the Software people for my PC but they were unable to help. Can anyone suggest what is wrong?

Would like to know aswell, have never been able to paste the line from Photobucket, I have to write it out. Not too much trouble, same line always except for the .jpg but it'd be nice if one could paste it in.

Perhaps it's about some setting on my local machine I haven't thought of..(?)

Try converting them to .jpg maybe?
Lots of sites do not like .tga files which are huge compared to a .jpg of the same picture are the same resolution.

Just as an example, I just looked... a .tga from my Screenshots folder was 5mb, when I converted it to .jpg it's 455kb.
Much smaller and less of a draw on transfer bandwidth.

Lewisner has posted images before, so you can see that the format is not the problem. Besides, (on imageshack at least) there is a 1.5MB restriction on filesize, and anything over 800KB can cause problems anyway (don't know why).

I use imageshack, but I would think that the format would be the same - there are a selection of lines of code, for a variety of uses.

In Imageshack there are two lines of BB code - just in case the first isn't accepted by the forum software. This software accepts either.

One click on the line of code highlights it all, and you press ctrl+C to copy it. then ctrl+V to paste.

Is this what you are trying to do? (if not, then it probably should be).

As a last resort you could just switch to Imageshack.

Another thing I've noticed is that pasting (previous location irrelevent) doesn't work if you haven't clicked in the text area of the reply screen after switching windows - perhaps something as simple as this is the answer.

EDIT: By text area I refer to the section in which you type the message. In a recent browser, it needs to be clicked on regardless of where the focus actually is. One of those quirks.
