I've come back after a while, driving myself crazy using RailWorks and learning everything about it, or, at least as much as I possibly can, and I can honestly say that this isn't the limit, as far as learning goes !
But for now, I'm getting back to Trainz, and feel I need some help with things, as, in the time I was away, I had a mild stroke, and it's affected my memory somewhat, or, rather, my attention to certain things. Still love anything trains (or Trainz, if you must) - and while the stroke makes it just that much more difficult, I'm slowly getting things back in perspective, I suppose.
And while on the subject of Trainz, I've installed my copy of TS2009 after locating it on my two large external HDDs, and done what I need to, but, not having read much for information over time, on this simulator, I'm finding some things a little hard to work out, and, therefore, am requesting some offers of general assistance.
With TS2009 now working, and downloading to the Content Manager, it's all AOK Apart from the fact that I seem to be having trouble with upgrading beyond version 38017, because, should I attempt to download and install an upgrade that kept coming into my face on starting TS2009, it went through the install, seemingly fine, thern aborted, due to some incompatibility somewhere, and I did this three times, and failed each time, with the same end result. Have othere had problems like this, trying to upgrade TS2009 ? Is there a way to get around this problem and upgrade successfully ? Cheers.
