There are two layouts on the DLS that cover the Adelaide area but I am not sure about the railway station or if its correct. You may want to download them and see what they did, both creators lived in Adelaide (one has sadly passed away - Redbull).

Look under Redbull 60415 and Pigeon 60697, this may give you some ideas.

EDIT: these layouts where built to join together :)

This is the first module of the South Australian Layout. It consist of the Adelaide CBD area, Adelaide Railway Station....

Version 1.0 of Adelaide to Noarlunga line (also known as the South Suburban line) represents the area from Clarence Park to Brighton- approx half the distance of the 30km line created to semi-proto scale.Includes Tonsley spur line and Mitsubishi Motors factory. Drivable roads and a boat sea path included.Merges into the SARN4T Adelaide base module (kuid 60697:101988) available at http://www.freewebs.com/trainz-saFull Noarlunga line with SP2 support (v2.0) coming late 2004South Australian Railway Network4 Trainz (c) 2004

Looks like only half of this superb layout in on the DLS, I do hope the other half is still available and I also hope we can one day get it to the DLS, these really are superbly made layouts.

These are the only two parts of the layout that where ever completed. As I said Redbull sadly passed away some years ago, so his work was never finished. The last time I spoke with Pigeon (also well over a year ago) he was spending more time with other "life" matters, University etc, and not involved in Trainz that much now.

Alan, is right though that these are superb layouts with a lot of work involved and some special content created just for these routes.

Well worth downloading, plus from memory ALL the content is on the download station (my memory though is not always that good :D )

Description:
'SARN4T Adelaide 1988' is a UTC compatable map based on the Adelaide city and Mile End areas of South Australia of the mid to late 1980's. The module features a representational Adelaide Railway Station, prototypical Mile End Diesel Locomotive Depot, and semi-prototypical Keswick Rail Passenger Terminal from where Interstate passenger trains such as The Ghan and The Overland depart and terminate. The module is also the begining of the Belair (Main South) and Noarlunga (South Suburban) lines, on which Redbull's full Noarlunga line can be merged, allowing for continuos running all the way from Adelaide to the terminus at Noarlunga Centre.

Description:
IMPORTANT MERGE DETAILS AT END. SARN4T Belair-Mt Lofty is a TRS2004 compatable map running through the Adelaide Hills, to extend 'SARN4T Adelaide 1988' You will need to ensure you have the SG Version of this Layout as it was initially released using only BG and will not run accurately using the original layout. It is based on 2006 'ARTC' Standard Guage (SG) line (runs through to Melbourne) and local Trans Adelaide Broard Gauge (BG) line that terminates at Belair. Both the BG & SG run parallel, through to Belair at gradients of 1.5 to 2.5. It is quite phototypical of the Hill's both suburban and countryside. The SG carries major Freight between Islington and Dry Creek in Adelaide to the Dynon yards in Melbourne, and also the 'Overland' passenger service between Adelaide and Melbourne. IT IS IMPORTANT TO MERGE SARN4T ADELAIDE TO BELAI-/MT LOFTY AND NOT VISA VERSA, TO AVOID A 10 METRE GAP BETWEEN THE TWO LAYOUTS. Please check http://www.railsa.com/vi/ for any missing assets esp Belair waiting shelter

Made by a user called psemmel. Just approved so will be on DLS ths afternoon.

Excellent news Alan, many thanks. I wonder if this is the part that Redbull was working on when he passed away. I know that Pigeon had it and I had offered to help but as I say he was slowly getting out of Trainz or using it much less.

It could just be a new extension and a much welcomed one as well.
