Can Content Mgr Be Forced To Sisplay Size?

CM 3.3 - shows a size column but only a few file sizes are displayed. Is there a way to force CM to display all sizes?

I use a file's size to judge its quality. As an example a 50kb ground texture is obviously a low resolution texture. However, a 1mb texture is high resolution. You cannot rely on the version number to make this observation.

I only use high res ground textures, as well as objects, in TS12. Despite having only a $50 dualcore 2.3ghz E4400 cpu I get decent performance.

Dick,

I've noticed the same thing with CM 3.x. I've never judge a model's byte size as a parameter for quality. There are plenty of low byte-sized models there are that look just as good as the multiple megabyte ones. It has to do with many factors including the quality of the mesh and optimization of the model in the first place.

I have noticed, however, that due to the new way of creating textures, that the newer models tend to be substantially bigger.
