can assets be transfered from 06 to 09

HI, Can anyone tell me if and how 06 assests can be transfered to 09?

I am sick of trying to find a working standard gage turntable in the incredibly confused 09 asset menu. (cor blimey, under 06 you look for turntable or roundhouse and there it is, under 09 you have scroll and click on hundreds of objects listed in foriegn languages and still not find anything)

I want to put my 06 assest into 09 and then delete the forige stuff.

Please acn anyone help.

I thought 2009 had the legacy content installed, if so, there should already be a turntable there. Anyway, open your 2006 CMP, find the turntable you want in the list, right click upon said object then choose "Save to CDP", then browse in the popup window to where you want to save it and choose save, and now that's done.

Now open 2009 "wife beater edition" CM2 and go to File, then choose, import CPD, navigate to where you saved the object and bada bing...it should import.

TS2009 provides the much better Content Search Filter in Surveyor. Start Trainz - Surveyor, click the Objects tab (or press F3) then open the Content Search Filter (Ctrl Shift P) and enter turntable. I get a list of 11 items in the Objects window.

In Surveyor, click on the Search symbol in the top menu, and in the top box of the Search window just type 'turntable', everything with 'turntable' in the user name will be shown in the Scenery menu. If you want to keep an item to use later, drag the name in the menu across into the Picklist. Conversely, if you want to sort in CM2, find what you want in the CM2 listing and drag it onto the Picklist, that and other selected assets will then be available to you next time you go into Surveyor.

This works for all asset types so you can build a list of your favourites to save searchin all the time. This is much better than 2004 or 2006.
