I notice that many road bridges that are available generate their own traffic - I laid several of them out on a bit of spare ground the other day to see if I could find any that didn't - very few, in fact.
Anyway, I installed one on my route and linked up to it sections of "Road Small Density". The curious thing is this: Vehicles that start on the road pass safely over the bridge and continue along the road on the other side of the bridge. Great! But the bridge still generates its own vehicles which start and finish their journeys at the beginning and end of the bridge. So the bridge has twice as much traffic as the rest of the road.
Please can someone tell me how I can overcome this or, for that matter, how can I install a bridge on a minor road with no traffic?
Many thanks
Alan
