I was just about to post about the same thing. I updated my Trainz22PE last night, which went smoothly with no issues. There were TRS22 processes running in Task Mangler when I went to bed, so I assumed it was a DBR, and when I got up this morning, the launcher was sitting in its usual corner of the screen. CM appeared to work fine, I was able to download some routes now that I can get version 5.7 routes. But when I went to "Start Trainz", all I got was a black screen. not even the menu came up. I waited a while but nothing happened so I did an Alt-Tab to get out of the screen, but then I could not close the window at all. I tried clicking the "X" in the corner and tried going down to the taskbar to close the window, to no avail. I finally went to Task Mangler and told it to "end task", and in the process it caused a reboot. I have now tried it again, and am sitting here with a black window and nothing happening. I tried checking "Event Viewer", but nothing there. It may be that I need to try running as administrator, but I did discover that when I do that, I cannot drag and drop third party files onto CM, or even files being edited, which is necessary when I clone DLS assets like RMM trees to replace missing pofig and McGuirel trees. (I also confirmed that this issue exists in TRS19 when set to run as Administrator). Besides, it ran fine without being administrator prior to the update. So now I am looking at once again having to kill it in Task Manager and that causing another reboot. Something is just not right.
