Breaking track

I have a fairly large layout, since upgrading to Trainz 12 have a few problems, one being when I open up my route in driver I often find I have broken track, or missing track. Could this be the track I am using? (HP) the build number? I hesitate to try "Replace assets` any suggestion would be appreciated.

Missing or broken track usually means you've edited the route in the Session instead of the Route layer at some point.

You could try opening the session for edit and merging the layer into the route layer and see if that helps.

Thanks John, that, no doubt is exactly what the problem is. I downloaded my route from Trainz 2009, so had to do quite a bit of repairing, all in session. Could you briefly give me an incite into what route layering is.
