I came across this thread by sheer chance. Glad you liked the route. It's quite old and dated and I'd like to think my work has improved somewhat since then. Surprised you'd dig that far back to find something to drive on. Really good routes age well, but I would not consider that a good route (esp. by current standards). Anyhow, through TANE, you can see I uploaded it in May 2009, so yes, it was based around 2006. I was overseas at the time and likely used what Google Earth images were available then. You could always modify it on your computer to current standards if you wanted to. That would be neat to see. Maybe even keep going to Bramalea and Mount Pleasant GO stations?
I saw in another thread you were looking for Ontario based routes. I also made a CPR based winter route (which is also quite dated). You can find it on RRmods.com
I also love railfanning at the Brampton Station. A lot of memories there for me...
