I've noticed that the gates on the fixed level crossings appear to move much slower and the trains have to be closer to trigger them. Something changed at some point because they were never like this.
Yes, I have noticed this also in TRS22PE.
I replaced all my, troublesome, TRC LC's with <kuid2:60850:60001:4> UK Skirted Full Barrier level crossing and found consists half way over the crossing before barriers fully down. Road traffic stopped fine, but barriers fairly slow to lower. Agreed this was not the case with T:ANE nor TRS19. Would love to see this corrected.
