Blacked out items

Having had one problem after another moving up to 09 with my Ulster rail project I am now encountering yet another frustration.

Installed pfx's Northern Ireland Railway DMU's and instead of a liveried windowed item I get a black object on wheels. I have also discovered that the NIR station styled station name boards are all blacked out on every single station too (NIR Station Name Board 237676:1171). Things have been bad enough trying to rescue my build and now this? It is nothing to do with pfx as I had no probs in TRS06.

Hi Philskene,

I unticked thatcompression item however the train is still blacked out (on the outside) and the NIR Company syation nameboards are still black too. I don't see anything up in the Options mentioned amongst the list of items there regarding compatibility.

After you untick the texture compression option, you must also re-commit all of the assets that exibited the problem to fix the problem.

One more small step

Either open the items in question for editing (Ctrl-Shift-E) and then commit (Ctrl-M).

Or delete the items and install again.

This should cure the problem.

Ah - a sigh of relief. That worked. I had started deleting the NIR style nameboards off stations now I must gor back and slowly put them back!
