Bit of a Geographical question.

Hi Folks,

I'd like to build a Route based around a large Lakes System or Cluster of Islands. Can anyone suggest a DEM that might be suitable for this? I've looked on the GAURC page but to be honest, I just don't know the locations well enough to know what the Terrain is like. So I'm kind of hoping someone can tell me which one of these may do the job?

Also, the Download links on the GAURC site don't seem to be working (by that I mean not appearing correctly) for me either? anyone else exeperiencing this?

We are aware of the errors at the downloadsite, and we're still working on a solution.
To be honnest, the site dosent really have that much traffic, so its not first on my list.

I have all the terrains on another site, so they aint lost.

For island clusters I think I'd go with the Philippines, for a chain of lakes northern Wisconsin or anyplace in Minnesota. Take a squint at http://www.bing.com/maps/ and set for aerial view.
