The daily commuter stop at Sputan.
on track 4 a NJT train awaits departure

Here we see Sputan interlocking. The tracks to the left diverge for the locomotive and car shops.

continued

This is the South Sputan interlocking. The tracks to the right, are NJT tracks that lead to the south side of the city. The tracks to the left are Amtrak's they lead northbound from here headed to a destination unknown:eek::hehe:

here is a shot of another loco run this is West Sputan. Todays train is lead by an F40PH.

Nice work,man!

Putting up that catenary must have been a real pain in the rear!
Good use of backgrounds also.
I´d say add one street with buildings each side of the tracks and there you go.

Yes the Cat's are hard to get lined up. I was cursing out loud when I decided to do this project, but it pays off. The other side of the station at Sputal will have more of a 'Broadway' feel to it-allowing more roads to be shown.
best regards
Mike

Yep, it is a hassle, trying to line up the catenary correctly so the pantographs of some trains will touch the wires.

thank you for the kind words

Thank you folks for the kind words I will have some more progress shots in just a few hours.

Here are some updates. I'm working on a portion of the NJT trackage in South Sputan. The next set of photo's are from that area. Enjoy

This is a completely free lance route. Not really based on any thing. Just from photos, memories, vids and such. I suppose the local would be in metro NYC, NJ and such. Oh by the way I've never worked with the 'CATS' before judging by the thumbs up reviews on here I'll keep doing what I've been doing. :o:wave:
