Been getting this warning(?) in foreign language. Spanish? When trying to open Surveyor - but not always, just sometimes.
My spelling of it may not be perfect.

Ohh, okay.
So, what is it saying?

According to google translate, it's saying the following...

Part of this map contains dependencies not installed on your computer. This can cause unexpected behavior.

Load the map anyway.

Download the missing dependencies immediately.

Attempt to load the map anyway and don't show this message again.

So obviously you are missing dependencies for this route, why the message showed up in Spanish I'm not sure about.

Robby

I get my warnings in Spanish as well. I've never had that exact one, but they are all complaints about missing content on a route.

As this message is coming from a layout I'm not even one square into laying track on and there's already plenty of frustration with the PRR E6 and H9 downloads not working as well as 2 of 3 V&T locos, my point of tolerance is passed.
I'm a railroad modeler, not the IT department geek.

My health is a mess and this was intended for recreation and relaxation. A goal it is not meeting.

Uninstalling Trainz and moving on to other things.

Best of luck then. :) I wish for you good health and hope you find something that gives enjoyment and relaxation. Thanks for trying Trainz.

Cheers

Sorry

I am sorry to hear this. My health isn't up to much either and having lost my partner have tended to rely a lot on something that fills time up. Can't say it's amazingly relaxing, Trainz can be frustrating at times, but in the main it works fine.
You didn't state which version you are using.... might shed some light on the problem.
And I agree, you should not have to worry about odd things happening at the start of a route, especially in some language that is strange to you.

May I suggest this. If you have a later version of Trainz like 06/09 then look at getting TRS 2004. It doesn't use the complicated CMP and CM2 utilities to install stock and indeed any of the other assets. A couple of clicks and they are yours. It's an easy version to get on with as well, but be sure it is a virgin copy that has never been registered, you need that registration number as your very own so you can download.
If you decide to get a copy you will find it a great joy to use, it's the version I have on my PC and although it admittedly does have its quirks, it has never given me an odd message like that. Certainly I get the missing dependancies one, we all get that from time-to-time, but it's not the end of the world and it usually appears after you have downloaded a route created by somebody else, not when you are just starting one.

Then, maybe after a while and when you have the hang of Trainz a bit more and feel more comfortable about it you can have another look at your present version.

I hope this will help you in some small way.

Bless you and good luck in whatever you decide,

Angela

I get these warnings in spanish aslo in TRS2006(thank god i can speak a little)

but, my trainz classics give it to me in english

If you go to the "Settings" page in your CMP you can tick a box that will stop this message from appearing. Hopefully this applies to the Spanish version as well!

The English build 3337 of TRS2006 has the same issue - error message regarding missing or faulty content when loading a route are displayed in Spanish!

This error is oldschool with TRS2006 - it pops up every time the route has a faulty dependency or a dependency with missing dependencies.
Click the green button on the bottom right and it'll load the map anyway
:D
