In the past, I purchased 2010 and 12. Now that I have returned, I see there are a number of new versions. With the current sale, It makes sense to go with TANE Platinum however I also noticed there is a TANE Platinum SP2. I assume SP stands for "service pack". Is SP2 standalone, or is it an add-on/update for the Platinum TANE.

TANE Platinum SP2 is the current version. This is the one you should be interested in. There is a HF 1 patch to download after you've installed. This just came out last week with the usual fanfare in the forums.
