I have a big red cross icon on top right of screen that I think is something to do with isolate switch aws. as I have never seen it before can you tell me how to remove it please?.

I had that on a session I had saved. I think it was because I had not timed things right and I had a consist stuck There was another consist sitting across the switch, not moving. You might check for something like that? In my case there was no way to remove it, I had to start the session over. Or this may not be your problem at all....
Thankyou for the reply , I think it was because one train was stuck on a red light and couldnt move, I tried to click on continue schedule but it said abandon schedule and I cannot change it to continue schedule , is there a way to do that?.

You will need someone better at sessions than I am, I can barely get through most of them in less than a dozen tries. Did you get the light to change and the switch to subsequently operate?
That's creative! Curious, what route and session is it? If there is an issue with a session, others may want to know, especially the creator. In my case I think I was just too slow getting my part done, causing AI units to get stuck.
Actually its my route Im building , my first one and its quite big and I and quite pleased with it myself. only half done up to now but it takes a bit of time if you want to do it properly,

Its fictional with a uk rural theme and taking a lot of care with offtrack realism and my own port with about 12 industries, and 8 stations 12 trains to date.

Sounds great. I am going to try to prototype a local n-gauge layout that is quite large. One of the problems being that they customize a lot of buildings, so I will end up having to find rough matches or reskinning things.
